Okay, so here's my first attempt at sketching and coloring one of my own pictures. > < don't be too hard on me, I already know I'm not the best, not by a LONG shot.

The best part is, I don't have to post links to resources because it's my own work But if you wanted to see my 10 second pencil + paper sketch here ya go (though I hold no responsibility if it causes temporary blindness or burning of pupils).

'Kay, so it took me a while to complete (especially since I'm a newbie when it comes to coloring with photoshop), but I feel as though I've accomplished something... -pats photoshop on the head-

I made the dragon, a friend made the personality. Don't ask, it's a long and boring (and just plain weird) story. He likes it though. The name Texeves comes from the name Steve rearranged plus an X (yes, he's a nobody dragon to you Kingdom Hearts fans )

For a first attempt, I was pleased that my friend's and my eyes didn't start to bleed when I first showed them. I know the shading isn't done well at all, and there are probably a million (and one) things wrong.

But, above all, I hope to gain experience from this. Experience that can be used to become better like those amazing artists that make the front page (well maybe not that good, but decent enough to draw a few comments).
